Larkwell helps businesses keep track of who owes them, follow up politely, and see the cash likely to come in. It’s in a free private beta. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Your account: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, Google shares only your name, email address and profile picture with us. We never see your Google password.
• Your business details: things you enter, such as your business name, currency, time zone, reply-to email and payment instructions.
• Your records: the clients, invoices, payments and files you add, and the follow-up emails Larkwell sends for you.
• Basic usage: simple counts such as invoices added and reminders sent, plus error reports, so we can fix problems and see what’s useful.

How we use it

Only to run Larkwell for you: to sign you in, show your numbers, send the follow-ups you set up, and improve the product during the beta. We don’t sell your data, we don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t contact your clients except through the follow-ups you turn on.

Who can see it

Each business’s data is kept separate, so other Larkwell users can never see yours. People you invite to your business can see its data. To run the service we use a few trusted providers, which store or process data for us and only on our instructions:

• Supabase for sign-in and the database (stored in the EU, in Ireland).
• Vercel to host the app.
• An email provider to send sign-in links and follow-up emails.
• An AI provider, when you choose to have Larkwell read an invoice or draft a follow-up. We pick providers that don’t train their models on this data.

Keeping it safe

Data travels over encrypted connections, and database rules make sure each business can only reach its own records. No system is perfect, so if something ever goes wrong that affects your data, we’ll tell you promptly.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email hello.larkwell@gmail.com and we’ll act on it within 30 days. When the beta ends, we’ll give you notice and a way to export your records first.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we’ll tell beta users by email before it takes effect.
