LarkwellPrivate beta

Beta terms

Last updated 2 November 2026

Thanks for trying Larkwell. These are the simple terms for the private beta. By signing in, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy page.

It’s a beta

Larkwell is free during the beta. It’s still being built, so features may change, break or go away, and there may be bugs. Please don’t rely on it as your only record of what you’re owed. Keep your own copies of your invoices.

After the beta

When the beta ends, Larkwell becomes a paid subscription. We’ll tell you the price well before then. If you choose to subscribe, your first month after the beta is free, and everything you’ve added during the beta (clients, invoices, payments and settings) stays in your account. You’ll never be charged unless you choose to subscribe.

What Larkwell does and doesn’t do

Larkwell tracks invoices, sends follow-up emails you set up, and estimates when money is likely to arrive. It doesn’t issue official or tax invoices, collect or move money, or give financial, legal or tax advice. Forecasts are estimates, not promises.

Your account and your data

  • Keep access to your email or Google account secure; it’s how you sign in.
  • Only add information you have the right to use, and only invite people who should see your business’s data.
  • Your data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Larkwell for you.

Follow-up emails

Larkwell sends follow-ups in your business’s name, to the clients and addresses you add. You’re responsible for those messages and for having a real business reason to contact those people. Until you switch on live sending, follow-ups go only to you so you can check them first, and final notices always wait for your approval.

Fair use

Please don’t use Larkwell to send spam or harassment, break the law, or try to reach other businesses’ data or disrupt the service.

Ending the beta

You can stop using Larkwell and ask us to delete your data at any time. If you don’t subscribe after the beta, you can export your records before your account closes. We may end the beta or a beta account. If we do, we’ll give you reasonable notice and a way to export your records first, unless the account broke these terms.

Limits

Because the beta is free and still in progress, Larkwell is provided “as is”, without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for losses from relying on the beta, such as a missed or delayed payment.

Changes and questions

We’ll tell beta users by email before any important change to these terms. Questions? Email hello.larkwell@gmail.com.
